According to Cedars-Sinai, CIDP occurs when the body’s immune system attacks the myelin sheaths around nerve cells. But exactly what triggers this isn’t clear. Symptoms are usually the same for all types of CIDP. First off, I would like to state that I still wholeheartedly believe in the treatment that I had at Klinik St. Georg. I believe that Lyme Disease is no longer active in my system, despite being re-bit in May 2019. As of August 2021 I did not and have not had any relapses to the caliber of my symptoms prior to treatment at the Klinik! I have been off all medications and supplements since Summer of 2019 and had been feeling quite good for quite a long time.
